By the time of Dave Glyde’s induction, he had served as Blue Devils music director and arranger for 13 of their DCI Championships, capturing the coveted “Fred Sanford” percussion trophy 8 times. His DCA success with the Syracuse Brigadiers included 5 Championships and 3 percussion titles. 

He had also been arranger/instructor for Japan’s Soka Renaissance Vanguard as they won 15 National Championships. The Magic of Orlando, 2002 DCI Class A champs played his percussion book. He designed and coordinated opening ceremony music for the 2000 and 2008 Olympic Games in Sidney and Beijing, respectively, and The Magic of Orlando, 2002 DCI Class A champs, played his percussion book.

Dave played snare in Troopers, Santa Clara Vanguard and Blue Devils.
