Mike DiMeo is one of the finest brass players Drum Corps has ever produced. First heard in 1962 with the Magnificent Yankees, he eventually became featured soloist with the Syracuse Brigadiers, winning the DCA Individual Showmanship Award in 1993 and Best Soloist Awards in 1995 and 1998.
He was Brass Caption Head for both the Magnificent Yankees and Brigs, and judged all music captions for the All American Conference and the NYS Federation of Contest Judges.
In the professional realm, Mike has performed with the Four Tops, the Temptations, and the Jimmy Dorsey Band, and serves as director of the Utica Symphony Orchestra. He also holds membership in the Buglers Hall of Fame.
